      yes

      just read about the signs.

if you have a sign in ohio they say you knew you had a vicious dog and get taken to the cleaners.

    2. Divapom says:

Yes, Especially in California. If someone walk on your property and trips and breaks a leg, they can sue you. You can sue for anything in CA.

I know of someone who’s dogs bit someone when they were burglarizing his recylcing yard and he was sued. And the burglar won. Go figure.

    3. ChicagoLuver says:

Do you have a Beware Of Dog sign? If you do, no. If not, yes.

    4. amanda says:

Never ever get a beware of dog sign. This is what a police officer told me. If you have a beware of dog sign posted anywhere it means you know you have a vicious dog. Instead we found some online places that had doggies at play. This is a good way to let people know yes I have dogs no there not usually vicious but they are playing. This hasn’t been an issue any more a lot more people knock now instead of trying to go into the gate.

    5. Kunzy D says:

      could be

      not quite sure though

    6. anml lvr says:

No, it is not your responsibility. The idea of a sign is a good one. Just try that and If that doesn’t work, just tell anyone that tries that to not do it again.

    7. the b-i-s-h says:

AS LONG S YOU HAVE A BEWARE OF DOG SIGN UP YOU SHOULD BE GOOD AS LONG AS A WARNING WAS POSTED YOU ARE FINE AT LEAST IN MY STATE

    8. Alanarama says:

probably. although in all reality the dog is just protecting its territory that is not how stupid uneducated people would think, and your dog would be liable to being put down.
u should have sign’s up stating there is a guard dog and beware of the dog etc to even stand a chance in court…

    9. Marie says:

      Yes of course it is!

    10. luv u michael jackson says:

nnoo its the dufus who put his hand over ur propert.

ur not responsibl, the dumbo is

    11. Ehawlz says:

Well, if someone comes into my yard, climbs onto one of my horses, gets bucked off and breaks their neck, they can sue me so I suppose yes, it would be your responsibility.

Perhaps if you have signs posted, like ‘Beware of dog’ you can protect yourself, because you can say you had warnings posted.

Think anyone would heed a ‘Beware of Horse’ sign?

I highly doubt it. But you might get more accurate answers in the Law section.
