I love my dog but there might be a problem.?

My dog is awesome! He is really huge and I have a little fence around my house and he always gets out and bites people.. I try to train him by telling him no! And giving him five dog treats for listening to me. He might have killed someone a few years ago but Im really not sure.. Does my dog love me?

    Tips for dog training

    1) Avoid giving your dog combined commands which are incompatible. Combined commands such as "sit-down" can confuse your dog. Using this example, say either "sit" or "down". The command "sit-down" simply doesn’t exist.

    2) When giving your dog a command, avoid using a loud voice. Even if your dog is especially independent/unresponsive, your tone of voice when issuing an obedience command such as "sit","down" or ""stay", should be calm and authoritative, rather than harsh or loud.

    3) Whenever possible, use your dog’s name positively, rather than using it in conjunction to reprimands, warnings or punishment. Your dog should trust that when it hears its name or is called to you, good things happen. His name should always be a word he responds to with enthusiasm, never hesitancy or fear.

Check my source, hope it helps. Good luck!

In the mind of the dog you are giving him treats for being aggressive.
Get the invisible fence to keep him in.
You might want to take him to an obedience class now to "reprogram" him.
I highly doubt your dog "killed" someone and got away with it, dogs are messy animals and leave clues all over the place. They would have came for him and put him to sleep.

don’t take it to a shelter! but take it to your local vet and ask for advice.

    of course he loves u!!
    the whole biteing part…
it really depends, if u r outside when he bites people
maybe he is just trying to protect you (even tho u dont need to be)
sumtimes dog feel like they need to protect their owner no matter wut.

You should take the dog to a shelter before it causes you to have problems. And no, I don’t think he loves you! If he did he would obey you like all dogs would.

    He’s ambivalent.
