Fence Pole Installation Without Cement pt 2

Secure Set is used for setting power poles, utility poles, telephone poles, light poles, and privacy fence post. This video demonstrates the advantages of using Secure Set over cement in setting privacy fence post. The advantages are numerous especially in the reduction of time and labor. For the individual there is a enormous difference when using Secure Set compared to cement with regard to the amount of weight that must be lifted in preforming the same job. The job on this video was done in Phoenix, AZ with a temperature of 112 degrees, I’m sure the ground temperature was much higher. In Oklahoma we set power poles in a temperature of only 10 degrees, in both jobs Secure Set preformed excellently. The only difference was it reacted a little sooner in the warmer temperatures. GRA Services has been using Secure Set to set large power poles with the utility industry for the past 8 years. We hope you enjoyed the video and found it informative.

We set some poles in Texas in at least 1/2 the time it would have taken us using concrete. We tested the first pole we set by hitting the side of the pole with a 10 lb. sledgehammer about 7 or 8 times to see if the foam would compress. The foam held and the pole remained sturdy. It’s does a very good job.
